- The swimming lesson scheme is a continuous programme with a two week closure for Christmas. Lessons will not normally be scheduled on Bank Holidays. Due to the ongoing nature of the swimming programme we cannot guarantee lessons on any particular day or time.
- Your Trust will endeavour to provide consistency in the teachers delivering lessons, however, there may be occasions when this is not possible. All teachers covering lessons will have necessary qualifications to deliver the relevant sessions.
- When a swim lesson cannot be provided due to a swim teacher absence, Your Trust will endeavour to give as much notice as possible of any cancellation. Refunds of fees will only be given if a swim lesson cannot be provided.
- The lessons are not transferable or refundable except as stated in the T&C’s.
- Your lessons may be suspended at the discretion of Your Trust following a written request where:
5.1 Injury or illness prevents participation.
5.2 A medical condition not falling within 5.1 prevents participation and a medical certificate is produced.
5.3 Your Trust cannot guarantee upon return that there will be an appropriate space in a lesson for your child on their return. - Your Trust accepts no liability for breach of its obligations under this agreement, where that failure is attributed to:
6.1 The fault of the parent or pupil.
6.2 A third party unconnected with the provision of services under this agreement.
6.3 Events which neither the swim programme nor its suppliers could have foreseen or forestalled even if it had taken all reasonable care. - Safety is of the highest importance and any child who behaves in a disruptive manner may be asked to sit out of the lesson.
- Your Trust reserves the right to amend direct debit payments; a 1 month advance notification will be given.
- A monthly fee is payable by direct debit. The fee includes tuition, swim and spectator (one month’s notice is required in writing to Your Trust on cancellation of swim membership after the minimum agreement term)
- Collecting your monthly subscriptions.
10.1Debit Finance Collections ( DFC) is our agent for the collection of your monthly subscriptions. DFC will collect your subscription monthly in advance on our behalf by Direct Debit.
10.2 If you fail to make a payment on time, you will incur the following charges:
10.2.1 Fail to pay the subscription on the due date £15.00.
10.2.2 Fail to pay the missed subscription within 7 days of the date of a reminder correspondence £30.00.
10.2.3 Fail to pay the arrears and accrued charges within 7 days of the date of a Final Notice £45.00.
10.3 Late payment charges become payable immediately when they are incurred. - Pupils should use the toilet and shower before entering the pool.
- Parents should refrain from entering poolside to speak to the swimming teacher and any query or complaint must be made via reception and/or email swim.academy@yourtrustrochdale.co.uk
- Replacement/alternative lessons will not be granted for lessons missed because of holidays or other commitments.
- Children under the age of 8 years must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.
- All viewing must be done from the spectator gallery.
- All children attending lessons must wear an appropriate coloured swimming hat based on the level of lesson attended.
- No jewellery must be worn.
- Pupils must not enter the pool hall unless instructed to do so by a swimming teacher.
- Your Trust integrates all pupils regardless of ability/disability, into its main stream swimming lessons.
- Your Trust via Debit Finance Collections must be updated as soon as possible with any change of contract or bank details by contacting 01908 422007
- These Terms and Conditions may be changed at any time, under the discretion of Your Trust.
