Do you like being active?  Do you want to learn but not want to go to college or university? Do you want to work with people of all ages from your local community?  Do you want to have fun, gain experience and earn money whilst working across a wide variety of activities … then we may have just the job for you!

Apprentices will have the opportunity to be able to work in the leisure industry and community settings including schools and community venues. Throughout the apprenticeships you will be working towards a Level 2 Community Activator Coach qualification, with the potential of gaining other qualifications such as Level 2 Community Sports Leader, First Aid at Work, National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and Level 2 Gym Instructor.

Working in leisure centres, apprentices will gain experience of delivering classes such as gentle exercise, functional fitness, walking netball, walking football, gymnastics and group exercise, fitness inductions and programmes, working with local sports clubs, supporting pool activities and meeting and greeting customers. Working in the community, apprentices will gain experience of delivering coaching in schools and community venue, supporting the delivery of holiday programmes and other community activity sessions.
