Cycle Loan Terms and Conditions

  • The bike is supplied to you in a roadworthy condition.
  • Users should be familiar with carrying out a pre-ride check (carrying out an M-Check). Any issues should be reported to the Bike Library asap by emailing activetravel@yourtrustrochdale.co.uk
  • Borrowers are responsible for ensuring they can ride safely (Info on local training can be found here) and within the law.
  • Cycles should be returned if you identify any defects.
  • Cycles, including all supporting equipment, must be returned each month to be checked even if loans are being extended.
  • Borrowers should confirm that they are in in good physical health that they have no significant health issues that prevent them from participating in cycling.
  • Borrowers should be made aware of the Privacy Notice (a copy is available on our website and the TfGM Bike Library page)
  • The cycle should only be used by the person named in the loan agreement.
