The Playmaker Award is Sports Leaders UK’s primary school leadership award and is available to Year 5 and 6 pupils.
Children can build confidence through leadership, developing skills such as organisation, teamwork, communication and innovation. The aim is to give them the confidence to lead activities in class or in extra-curricular time, lunchtimes, breaks, as well as in sports clubs and competitions.
The Playmaker Award consists of 5-6 hours of guided learning and can be run over a full day or two mornings.
