In the interest of Public Health, Health & Safety and the cleanliness of pool water, appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times when visiting Your Trust pools.

Swimming trunks
Swimming shorts (including shorts to the knee)
Swimming costumes
Swimdress
Bikini’s
Tankini’s
Burkini’s/Hijood (or other similar swimwear)
Under certain circumstances, close fitting plain t-shirts may also be worn. Please check with a member of the team.
For under 5s
To help maintain body heat without restricting movement, the following swimwear is also permitted:
Neoprene baby wraps
Knee-length suits
Float suits
Neoprene float jackets
Note: longer than knee/elbow length neoprene suits are not permitted as they restrict movement.
Items that are not permitted as swimwear
Underwear, transparent costumes or thongs
Sporting wear, football or rugby tops
Denim or cotton leggings/leotards
Long flowing clothes
Baggy t-shirts or loose fitting clothing
Wet suits
3/4 length pants
Swimwear with protruding designs or accessories e.g. pins, rivets, buckles, buttons, zippers
Any item of clothing with obscene or offensive pictures or words
Important Information
The centre management team reserve the right to determine whether swimwear is appropriate or not.
Swimmers who do not wear appropriate swimwear will be asked to leave the swimming area and change. If you do not have swimwear but would still like to swim, we have a range of swimwear available to purchase at reception.
