Our Schools programme offers a wide range of activities across the borough of Rochdale to assist Headteachers and Teachers to add value to what is currently offered in the classroom, and to be a successful part of the learning journey for both the teacher and pupil.
Our programmes are designed to enhance the students learning experience and personal development, and in everything we offer, we aim to cover activities in line with your curriculum from KS1 through to KS4.

School days with a difference at Hollingworth Lake
Learning need not take place solely within educational buildings. The outdoor environment has a massive potential for learning. We are extremely fortunate to have such rich urban and rural environments on our doorstep and our children and young people’s learning experiences can be enhanced by maximising the potential of the outdoors. We are keen to see all our children and young people having positive learning experiences in a variety of settings.
Learning outdoors can be enjoyable, creative, challenging and adventurous, it helps children and young people learn by experience. They grow as confident and responsible citizens who value the spectacular landscapes, natural heritage and culture Rochdale has to offer.
